Founder and CEO US WorldMeds
P. Breckinridge (“Breck”) Jones, founder and CEO of US WorldMeds and self-described serial entrepreneur, has started 7 companies (5 successes/2 failures), completed 2 leveraged buyouts, and developed multiple commercial real estate properties.
Mr. Jones’ early successes include co-founding On Target Media (1993 Inc magazine 23rd fastest growing company) and developing over 1 million SF of commercial properties that remain debt free today.
Mr. Jones failed early retirement and started US WorldMeds in 2001 with a vision to be a sustainable privately held specialty pharmaceutical company. Mr. Jones experienced many trials and tribulations before achieving his goal that US WorldMeds be profitable, debt free and privately held, with a great team of people and multiple protected products that are making a difference in the world. Notable accomplishments include having sold US WorldMeds’ CNS portfolio to Supernus Pharmaceuticals for over $300 million in 2020 and having achieved FDA approval of Iwilfin, which is saving the lives of half the children who were formerly dying from neuroblastoma.
Mr. Jones earned his BS in Engineering (1981) from Vanderbilt University, magna cum laude and his MBA in Finance and Real Estate (1983) from The Wharton School, Graduate Division, University of Pennsylvania, with Director’s List honors.
