Mike is a Founding Partner of MCM CPAs & Advisors, a Firm that has grown to be the largest CPA firm headquartered in Kentucky. MCM now has six offices throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Mike has been active in the accounting world at both the state and national level, serving as President of the Kentucky Society of CPAs and serving on the board of the American Institute of CPAs. Mike has served in numerous local leadership roles throughout his career. He is the Former Chair of the Louisville Chamber of Commerce and The Community Foundation. Currently, he serves as Chair of the Gheens Foundation and as Trustee at the University of the Cumberlands. Mike is an active investor in several start-up ventures. He has invested in commercial real estate, the hospitality industry, and is a Co-Founder of Soccer Holdings, LLC, the local ownership group of Louisville’s professional soccer teams. Mike spends his free time with his wife, Carolyn Mountjoy, as well as his four children and twelve grandchildren.
