Rick Kueber, CEO of Glow Brands, is a visionary entrepreneur with a proven track record of identifying and scaling successful businesses. His journey began at age 22 with Video Vault, a 13-unit video rental chain he built and later sold.
In 1999, Rick co-founded Sun Tan City. Under his leadership, the business grew from a single location into an industry leader with over 250 units and more than $150 million in annual revenue. The company is currently undergoing a system-wide conversion to Wellness City, marking a new phase of growth.
Rick’s portfolio expanded further in 2012 when he became a top-tier franchisee for Planet Fitness, developing over 70 units. He then led an investment in Buff City Soap, helping it scale rapidly from 10 to over 250 locations.
Never one to slow down, Rick's latest venture is an investment in 7 Brew Coffee, with plans to develop more than 80 units.
Beyond his business ventures, Rick co-founded the American Suntanning Association and was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® in 2010. His philanthropy includes a $1 million donation to fund an entrepreneurial career pathway in Kentucky—the largest private donation to a public school district in the state's history.
